BOOK REVIEW | #GIRLBOSS

I bought this book and was immediately surprised by the lack of pages. I am unsure of exactly why, but I expected this book to be far more than a mere 239 pages. However these 239 pages did not disappoint.

The book tells the true story of Sophia Amoruso's life and exactly how the store Nasty Gal was born. The book is split into several chapters, in which Sophia talks of her struggles throughout adolescence, including stealing, moving from school to school, depression, ADHD, and how she became the successful business woman that she is today as CEO of Nasty Gal. Aside from Sophia's life, the book also includes various other accounts from other 'Girl Bosses' (including Nasty Gal's buying director), who are also an interesting read.

The book is witty, humorous, honest, inspirational, and totally worth a read (especially if you are a lover of Nasty Gal like me or need a kick up the back side with some motivation!)

#GIRLBOSS has now become a true favourite of mine, and I really do hope you enjoy it too.
